For those with Linc remote

I have a 2016 321RSTS with the Linc remote. If I turn on the main awning and front LED lights using the remote there is no way to turn them off using the inside panel. The switch is an on/off type. With my 2nd awning lights, if I turn them on using the remote I can turn them off at the panel. This switch is a toggle switch so it works. It seems to be that both should be toggle switches so you can turn lights off inside even if they were turned on using the remote. Does everyone else's lights work like mine or can you turn your main outside lights off from the inside if turned on with the remote?

I know it's being nit-picky but all these little things add up to annoy you after spending good money on these units.

I was told that if I turn them on with the remote, I need to turn them off with the remote. Likewise if you use the switch on the panel to turn them on, you need to use that same switch to turn them off. I have not verified this yet but this is what the Tech told me during the PDI.

I was told this too, and it's true for the light but the slides will work using either. I put them out from time to time using the remote but almost always slide them in using the panel.

Took me a couple of hours, and a post to this forum, to figure out how to turn my awning lights, and the silly light under the stairs off...

You need to use the same switch (or remote) that you used to turn them on.

Sounds like everyone else's main outside lights are like mine. My 2nd awning lights can turn off in both places no matter which one turned them on. You would think they would make them both that way but maybe the switch costs 50 cents more.

Agree, and the funny thing is I just found this out last night and then logged into the forum and found this, would have saved me an hour last night messing with the lights to figure it all out.
