Carpet is tucked and stapled as a method of securing. Best to go feel and prod around checking for more. Hammer loose ones in carefully, or pull those that are not secured well and protruding too much.

Ok, I got my 377 back and here is the fix for the outriggers. They doubled them up. I think one more was added also.

Awesome Redbird.
So there ACTUALLY is a TSB on this, or is it just a repair if you bring your rig in and say look my supports are bent?
Am I going to have to fight my dealer?
Now that I bent mine back I have no proof.

I picked my unit up at closing so I did not talk to my dealer in person. As far as I know it is a warranty bulletin. Your dealer should know about this. My dealer is a small dealer and he told me about it before I had a problem.

Thanks for the update. I am picking mine up today, they finally got all the new cap deals in and put on. Going to ask about this issue and look at the new ones to see if they r doing this now from factory

Klassic
If you bent yours back they will just bend again. Once u straighten metal without reinforcement it will bend easier. They must bend when slide is fully out with the weight on it. I will be checking mine before it leaves the shop today.

Was at my dealer today and they are still waiting to hear back from Jayco on what to do about the bent support on our unit. Didn't seem to know anything about any TSB on them. They know that I follow this forum and that there are already problems with the supports so I am interested if we get the same fix as Redbird7. We better! The service mgr. said (as most of us already know) that if the RV industry had to follow the same rules as the car/truck mfg. do, the Rv industry would be screwed. Isn't that interesting- coming from a dealer!

Fingerlakes...completely unrelated, but whereabouts in the fingerlake region are you located? I have family in Hammondsport (Keuka Lake).

Got mine back today and paint job and decals on cap perfect. Stopped by the Jayco dealer and they have not heard a thing or repaired any supports. I talked with the tec who did my prior repairs and he told me the same and I trust him. I looked at two new models and outrigger supports are just like mine not any thicker. Mine are fine. I asked the other dealer that painted mine and they also have not heard a thing. So when I got home I Layed under the slide and opened it. I placed my hand on the bottom by the brackets and could feel
that it moved down some. With the slide fully out and pushing up on the metal rock guard it was tight and barely moved. I ran the slide back in and pushing up on the metal stone guard it would move. So it seems the slide all the way out is bending those flimsy bracket supports. With that said I have always leveled before moving my slides. I looked at two new Models and exactly the same brackets. I think Jayco is keeping this quiet and when u find a bent bracket than when the dealer calls they fix like what Redbird1 had done.

I asked this early on in this thread, but I want to confirm.... This bending is only happening on units with the residential fridge.

Have any of these bending cases been on units with the lighter, gas/elec fridge?

Mine is in the 280lb area. So really a 50lb difference isn't the breaking point.

We have the residential fridge and ours is bent under the fridge area. Bookemdanno- We live near the village of Jordan in Onondaga county- 20 miles west of Syracuse I use Fingerlakes because I grew up on the west side of Seneca Lake about 1/2 way down the lake and hunt and fish there still. I am very familiar with Hammondsport. Very pretty in the finger lakes area- as nice as anywhere else in the country. When I was a kid many of my friends parents worked at Taylor Wine company or Mercury Aircraft in Hammondsport -Taylor is gone now and I'm not sure about Mercury.

I will tell you that Mercury is still there and running! My family owns Mercury. Unfortunately Taylor wine is gone, but it was bought and rebranded as Pleasant Wine Co.

Here's something interesting.

Looked at all the NorthPoints and Pinnacles at my dealer.
The same rig as mine that I know came in 2 weeks after mine (August) has the same supports as the ones we are talking about. The middle one, like mine, isn't bent yet but I can see it is about too. Starting to bow.

Here is an earlier build 377
Hard to see in the picture, but it has a huge bend.

Here is a more recent build 377. The same as all the Pinnacles on the lot, the rest of the recently built NorthPoints, and the Montana High Country's

Which style are your supports Tom?
Like my bottom pic, or without the bottom bend like the top pic
