Frogs coming in the unit
For the fourth time, we have found a frog in our 29RKDS. Does anyone know where they can come in?

Do have a son? My friends son likes to bring in bugs and other wildlife into their RV.

Dont know for you but for us we conclude that our lovely frog came in travelling in the rubber boots we left outside after a good rainfall

We have no kids and my wife is very much afraid of frogs. We were camped close to a lake so there were a lot of frogs.

When we purchased our TT, and living in FL, the first thing I did was to foam every opening between the enclosed bottom and the living space. You would not believe the amount of space around the pipes and wires. Make that your first priority. After you finish that project, grab another can of foam and crawl under the TT and foam ANY opening that you see. We have the artic package and I foamed all along the frame/plastic space. There were a bunch of places where a small critter could have got in. The places that are commonly overlooked are the cable for the spare tire under the TT, the hole for the cable was at least 1.5" in diameter, so I took a 4x4 blank plate for an electrical box, drilled a small hole and slot where I could slide the cable to the hole, screwed it to the thick plastic underlay and caulked the slot. The other place is where the 4x4 electrical box is mounted to the front of the frame cross over where the battery cable goes into the TT and the other cables enter the cable. It was a 1" hole in the frame (with no plastic collar to protect the wires from eventually shorting on the frame metal), with plenty of room for a critter to crawl through. I am sure you will find more around the TT brake cable, LP hose.... Home Depot sells this Pestblock GREAT STUFF
Get them all,
Don

Kiss it, it could be a handsome prince or princess depending on which one kisses it.

Yeah they must be getting in somewhere. Mice have been an issue for some in the past, but I think this is the first post I can recall on frogs! Good luck getting rid of the little buggers!

Funny you say this because 2 weeks ago we were camping in Tennessee at Anchor Down . After waking up the first morning after getting there , there was a frog in the toilet and after I was sitting outside getting my morning caffeine I kept hearing chirping. Was wondering if it was a frogs nest in camper or could it be birds? After further detective work come to find out I had a baby birds nest in the very corner back on frame and the baby birds survived the ride underneath the camper from Baltimore,MD to Dandridge TN up Rte 81 at 60-65 mph!!! I collected them up and took them to a wildlife rescuer!!!!
Glad I'm not the only Doolittle round here..

If it didn't get in though an opening, I'd say maybe it came in on something you brought into the trailer that you left outside.
