From 30A to 50A
We're moving from 30A to 50A so my extension cord, adapters, etc. probably all need to be replaced. I don't want to buy a bunch of stuff that sits and never gets used.
What have you found most useful to have on board in the way of adapters should you encounter a campsite without 50A power?

I keep my long 50A power cord, and have a short 1' or so 30 to 50A adapter and finally a 15A to 30A small adapter, covers all the bases. The 2 adapters take almost no room at all.

Currently I carry a 30 amp to 50 amp adapter and a 50 amp to 15 amp so I can plug in at home to charge the batteries while in storage. I used spring type broom handle clips to mount them to the wall in the storage area. Also carry a 15 ft 50 amp extension just in case.

Thanks nylyon and TNCraig... that's pretty much what I was thinking but glad to hear it confirmed. I too use the 15A dogbone adapter for charging the batteries and/or cooling down the fridge the night before a trip.

We had to use our 50 amp cord with an adapter to our 30 amp cord to reach across to another pedestal on an overnight stop, instead of moving sites because the breaker kept tripping and there was no repair staff to replace it. Since then we still carry the 30 amp adapters as well as a 50 amp extension. If we don't need 50 amps we will use the 30 amp cord, adapting from 50 to 30 because it is lighter and more manageable.
