Furrion DVD Player

I have a 2017 Eagle HT 28.5RSTS. Can't seem to get the DVD player working. No matter what setting I put it on nothing seems to work. The tv is also a Furrion. Any suggestions?

Have you removed the face plate to access the screws keeping the unit installed?

Behind my Furrion, there are several connection options. Too many really. I chose the HDMI but could have chosen RCA or components.

All of these connections seem to come from the same wiring harness. Maybe the harness is not connected well enough.

I'm waiting for a replacement Furrion system for my 2 month old Jay Flight. It wont load any discs at all. Both CD's and DVD's get spit right out. It worked for a day or two.

First off, I'd check the cabling to the TV from the unit and make sure you select the correct HDMI port on the TV.

In'Furrion

Call Furrion. Others have had success going direct. Many have issues with the remote distance and disc loading. Jayco got in bed with the low cost option, and it shows up in Furrion.

We have also had trouble with the furrion dvd player. It will load a dvd but it will not play or eject. The dealer has ordered a replacement. We are not familiar with this brand so we did not opt for the 32 inch tv in the bedroom for 400 dollars. We went down to our local best buy and purchased a 32 inch samsung 1080p for 200 dollars.

Best thing to do is junk that crappy Furrion and get a $100 BluRay player and a sound bar with a wireless sub woofer. Way less trouble.
