That depends on what you want to accomplish with the batteries...
- Do you just want to replace your existing battery?
- Will you be camping at CG's with shore power?
- Do you want to spend most of your time dry-camping (without Electric)?
- What will they be in?

Depending on which of the above you select there will be additional questions...

If you only want to meet the safety requirements for towing a TT with electric brakes (does it have electric brakes?) and maybe a night without electrical power (conservative use of power) a regular Interstate 12 volt 85Ah RV/Marine battery will be just fine. If you start going to CG's without electric or dry camping you then need to rethink the battery plan.

Bought 5er used with no paperwork to help me out. Slides don't work without batteries. Any info is helpful.

5er should not be towed without a battery (LAWS)... 1 or 2 regular 12Volt RV/Marine 80ish Ah batteries will do fine. Leave your 5er plugged into the TV when you put the slides out/in and the awning.. If you plan on going overnight without electric hookup go for the 2 batteries. If you are looking at dry-camping look at 2 TRUE deep cycle batteries like the Trojan T105's or T145's.

Thanks for your advice. Since I'm usually on shore power will go with the rv marine type.
