Any inverter generator with sufficient power for everything you expect to run. Most people favor the Honda or Yamaha 2000 watt models.

If you want to run the A/C as well buy 2 and a parallel kit. That arrangement gives you the most flexibility.

DO NOT get a construction grade generator. They are way too noisy. Your neighbors will be very unhappy with you.

My nephew did that at the races. One of his neighbors went out in the middle of the night and shut it off.

Champion now has a 2000 watt that is as quiet as the Honda/Yamaha's. I have seen them at Costco for about half the price of the Honda's. Plus you can get the parallel kit to run 2 of them together.

I have one of these http://store.boliygenerator.com/boli...ter-gener.html

with less than 10 hrs on it. PM me if you are interested and I'll make you a sweet deal on it.

I bought it then came across an Onan that my unit was pre-wired for.

I got the Honda EU6500is to power my fifth wheel. I can run both air conditioners, the microwave, and a hair dryer, all at the same time if I like.

I carry it in my basement. I built a winch fixture for loading it and unloading it. There is a thread about that over in the mods forum.

We have a Champion 4000 generator that is noise compliant for campgrounds. It works great and not all that heavy. Bought it at Amazon. Even has a remote to start and stop it.

Just an FYI for you since you are "out West". I have problems with my Champion Inverter generator at high altitudes. It loses power fast and at really high altitudes, it doesn't run at all. Honda has a fix for this issue but, as far as I know, Champion still does not.
