Got our new fifth-wheel home

Well, we got our new fifth-wheel home, just in time for it to get snowed on. However, not before moving out the slides yesterday afternoon, watching a movie and having a little wine while doing so. If I can do so, I'll attach some pictures of the fifth-wheel with the snow on it. Even with the snow, it's a nice looking fifth-wheel. You'll notice, that spring snow doesn't hang around very long. Great blue skies and sunlight will melt it quite quickly.

Nice 5er! We camped next to an Eagle HT last Fall, and the colors and graphics are beautiful. I like your driveway too.

What is that white stuff on the ground? I think I may have seen some back in 1993, but my memory fades.

Crabman, back about 15 years ago, we had a house with a double wide driveway and I hated cleaning snow off it. Next house had three wide, and I hated cleaning it as well. Now, we have a three wide driveway and a pad on the side, I never seem to learn. However, do have an ATV with a plow so it's not quite as difficult.

edatlanta, that's called snow and it fell overnight. Very fluffy and light. Most of it has melted off as we generally get very clear, blue skies after a snowfall and the radiant sunshine melts it off, joking about the snow, I know you know about it.

This FW is quite a change from the 1993 Eagle 215SD that we had for 18 years. Had the metal "siding", no slide and a really tiny bathroom and bedroom areas. Being as how I am a little too short for my weight, this new trailer will be great, when we get to use it.

Yeah, I remember what snow is and this year I think I would rather have snow than what we have had. Two tornadoes in the past 4 weeks and what am I going to do next? Going to Panama City for the summer where I can dodge hurricanes. But at least you can see those suckers coming well in advance and my escape plan is simply - hook up and watch my smoke going north.

Very nice. You should have a lot of good memories with that.

AZ, how does that 2500HD tow that Eagle SuperLite? I think they are somewhat heavier than the HT that I bought and I had some people telling me that the Ram 2500HD with the six-speed manual and 3.42 rear end wouldn't tow mine very comfortably. With the one trip we have had, the Ram will haul this with no problem, had no problem maintaining speed even in sixth gear into a pretty strong headwind. Of course, mpg suffered greatly, but that's the breaks.

Jamoke,
Congrats. It's pretty weird though, because we both purchased the 30.5 RLS last year about the same time. We talked about the bedroom not having a slide, which ended up being a killer!
We just picked up a new Pinnacle in Albuquerque a couple of days ago. What a difference in space!!! It has three slides. Also has the four pt. leveling system, which is awesome. In Flagstaff heading to Vegas and then back home to SOCAL. Have fun and enjoy.

Jamoke, I thought it was you that bought the new 5er, but now see, it is someone else. Sorry for the confusion.
