Help from Eagle Owners Needed - Looking to buy one

I am looking for any info on the Eagle Super Lite HT 26.5RKS. This is one of seven models I have on my final list for a new Fifth Wheel. Any info good or bad is appreciated.

I have done some searches, but have not turned up anything yet.

Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum Reubenray! There are several Eagle owners here. What are your other six choices? Are they all 5'ers? Have fun shopping!

We seriously considered a Keystone product when searching for our new bunkhouse. One company we considered went out of business leaving us to narrow our list to the Keystone and Jayco. We found very little in the way of bad reviews for Jayco and came to realize that overall, Jayco puts out a quality product. The customer service is excellent and the 2 year warranty was a plus! However, the reviews for Keystone wasn't all that great and there were *lotsa* them. After reading about every "hit" on google for Keystone reviews, many owners complained about cheap workmanship, leaking roofs, and disapproval of customer service dealing with warranty issues.

How exciting though to be shopping for a new rv! Hopefully you will get some good input from Eagle owners here. Let us know what you wind up doing!

The two year warranty was one big plus of us. The biggest issue I have deciding on which one to get is I cannot find any locally to look at. I live North of New Orleans and have only seen the Flagstaff so far. I will be making trips to the Dallas and Houston area at some point to look.

Is the Eagle Super Lite HT a new model?

I think the length of the warranty gives some indication of what the manufacturer thinks of their own product.

One word: FRAME!

IMHO, stay away from Lippert frames - Jayco uses top quality frames for their price...

I love my Eagle; even though I had a few minor issues (some still being remedied). Jayco has been awesome to deal with.

I got the best deal(feb 2011) on my Eagle 321RLTS at Hayes in Longview Tx since your comeing this way.I looked at several dealors in the DFW area and my son who works for a very large credit union up there did some dealing for us and they just couldnt beat Hayes.
I am loving this 5th wheel.Quality is pretty good and the dealer did a great job setting up for my truck.

Our Keystone 5er (Mountaineer) had a Lippert frame with hydraulic slides. You get the worst of everything. You can have electric problems or you can have hydraulic problems. At least with Jayco it is all electric.

Go to the Keystone owners group and you WILL NOT buy a keystone.. just compare the unhappy posts Keystone VS Jayco...
You know that rear kitchens are very hard on dishes... you will always have to be careful opening a cupboard door after traveling with a RK. BTDT.

Is there a location to install a TV in the bedroom of the 26.5RKS?

Seann, belonging to the MOC was very helpful to me with our Mountaineer. Very nice group of people. Unfortunately I experienced just about every problem but the broken frame one. When I first logged on there four years ago I began to wonder what the heck I had gotten myself into. I am very happy to be here.

You can't go wrong with a Jayco. I purchased a 2010 29.5RKS and yes there are a few little things I dealt with but nothing major and all well covered without question.

What size is the mattress? Is it a full 80" or the RV 74"?
