I have the Timbrens, I also have about a 1 inch space with the tank full and hitch in place. My ride is not any different than before I had the Timbren's installed. When I'm hitched up to my FW then the Timbren's engage. Great solution for me. I would double check on your setup if you only have 1/4 to 3/4 inch.

Not 3/4.....3/8". I would love to have 3/4.
I sent them an email, they said it's fine...I don't think so.
They also won't center, either forward of center or back of center. I couldn't decided so one is forward and one is back.

They should be installed were the existing bump stops were removed, right over the axel. Something does not sound right, post pics if you can.

This one is forward of center. Center would be where the mounting bolt is.

This is with a 1/4 tank and the hitch removed. It's at 3/4" now. Otherwise in the 3/8" area.

My only guess is my springs are getting old

Klassic, I kept looking at pic #1 and it looked strange to me so I went out to the garage and looked at mine. It's been 2 1/2 years since I did the install but I used the center mounting hole as my mounting location for the Timbren. No other bolts were used and they're centered over the bumpstops with a 1" clearance. Only difference in our trucks is an extra leaf spring. Your springs are fine.

I've never understood the light switches for the three exterior lights on my 2013 31RLTS. The three switches are not aligned in a row. One of the switches is a rocker, while the other two are momentary switches. It makes no sense to me.

Me either. Somethings wrong unless you have someone to stand there holding it down?
Do they look like the picture of my 2011 posted earlier in the thread?
