Help with Hot Water for 2017 Jayco North Point 381DLQS

As complete newbies, my husband and I are at a loss for what we are not seeing/doing. We just purchased a 2017 Jayco North Point 381DLQS and wanted to go through some paces before taking it camping next weekend. We are able to fill the water tank, but can't seem to get the hot water figured out...some helpful folks on a local forum are saying there is a bypass valve somewhere we need to turn on...but for the life of us, we do not see any valves. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The valves are in the docking station. There is a chart to tell you where the valves need to be.

Also you have to turn on the switch to turn on the heating element. If you are hooked up to electric flip the switch to electric.

Make sure the WH has water in it before trying to heat it.

My 381 DLQS has the tankless water heater, not all are tankless. What one do you have? Tanked or tankless?
