High Pitched Sound In Bedroom 2017 377RLBh

I have a high pitch sound in bedroom when I turn on bedroom lights along with the lower accent lights. Anyone had this issue? Spoke to dealer about it and they asked me how much time did I want them to dedicate to looking into that, as the warranty will only cover so much time and then it is on my dime. Not sure how I should be responsible for a possible electrical issue, since I have had a couple so far on just the first trip. The island GFCI has tripped twice, the charging station in bedroom stopped working along with the central vac system now has no power and the bathroom lights dim and flicker when the bathroom fan is on. Starting to wonder if they are all related issues.

It's warranty, no cost to you. That's between the dealer and Jayco on how long it takes. If the dealer takes longer than Jayco will pay, the dealer eats the time. I wouldn't pay a dime.

Agree with Earl. Sounds like the dealer is trying to make some money off warranty

I concur with the above statements concerning the dealer. I too have the high pitched noise and narrowed down the sound to be coming from the electrical panel. I took a video of the panel with the noise and emailed it to my dealer. They ordered a new electrical panel from Jayco and are set to start the install this Saturday (If I get my TV back from the body shop). They told me they would need my unit for 7 - 10 days total. As a side note, I asked how much they would charge me to do the install on the MORyde upgraded shackle & cross member upgrade. They are going to do the upgrade, repack my bearings and replace my rear seals on all 4 wheels for $220.00! I'm just going to supply them with the parts. I thought that was a great deal!

I noticed a high pitch noise also and narrowed it down to the led lights in the main area

I have the noise occasionally, usually when parked at house connected to shore power. I have noticed if you put a little DC load on the inverter the noise goes away.

Thanks for all the responses. I will see if I can get some video of it as well and try to narrow it down further since I can reproduce it. What is the Moryde shackle upgrade. I have the 17.5 version and see the moryde cre 3000 in there and I also have a steel bars that go across from the leaf spring brackets. Is that what you are talking about for the cross members? Gonna have to ask about doing the seals and bearings when I bring it in.

Yes, the angle braces on the leaf spring brackets are on the front and rear of my rig. The extra brace is for the center bracket. Not sure if your rig will have the upgraded shackles and wet bolts but I believe they now standard on the newer models (maybe 2018?)
