My dealer replaced it today with the 16 K hitch product 30047 and it is so easy to hook up.
Not sure by what you mean by little clearance, can you expound on this?

Hi 17 Oaks,
I think you mean tolerance. When the jaws close around the king pin it is a snug fit on the Titan model (as per Reese). It seems the pin and the wedge on the revolution have to be near perfect for the jaws to close and lock. I think needing the wedge may be the problem unless my hitch was defective which I doubt.

Love my Titan hitch except when the truck and trailer aren't on the same plane. When I back into my driveway and the front truck wheels are lower than the back the hitch doesn't want to release. I need to run the front wheels up on ramps to get the rig more level in order to un-hitch. I also need to dump the air out of the rear bags. It's frustrating but at least I know the hitch us locked tightly. No complaints other than that.
