How level am I?

I seem to have the same problem as a lot of owners who have an Eagle HT. Tow vehicle is 2016 F250 6.7 pulling a 29.5 BHDS Eagle HT. My hitch is an Andersen Ultimate with the ball in the lowest setting. I also had the dealer put my trailer springs in the upper holes. So basically I have done everything I can without some major work. Here is a picture. What does everyone think? Am I still too nose high?

First photo didn't show up. Yes you look nose high but... is the parking lot level?

Hope you meant the springs are in the lower holes and not the upper. Upper would lower it, lower holes would raise it.

Get your trailer loaded and ready to camp and get some measurements.

With TV and 5er hooked up park on a level area. At the pin location measure from ground to top of bed rail, call this "Measurement #1".

Now chock the 5er wheels and disconnect the TV from the 5er, pull TV clear of the fiver, then level the 5er (with the front jack’s only). Then at the pin measure the distance from the ground to the bottom of the 5er overhang, call this "Measurement #2"

Now time for math (measurement #1 + 6") - measurement #2 = needed lift at axles.

(from rhagfo on RV.net) Thanks

You're a lot more level than I am I still need to get the springs lowered. May have to go to larger wheels.

I really dislike these high sided trucks.

Looks pretty close to level to me. I've been towing mine at at a similar or even slightly higher level with no issues.

I'm always told that I am a "half bubble off" no matter what.

You could also get a bigger tire on the trailer depending on how much clearance you have in the wheel wells and between the axles. That could get you a half inch or more. Just be glad you don't have a 2017 Super Duty. As sweet as they are, they are even higher now from the factory which is making 5th wheel towing difficult for some people for the same reason you're dealing with.

When I am on level ground, I can make a fist with my thumb extended and fit that in between with my thumb only slightly bent. I know that is not a precise measurement, but I will try to get an exact measurement next time I hook up.
