Ice maker in Residential Fridge
I have been trying to get the freezer in my 36kpts to make ice from the built in ice maker. It is turned on and i have water hooked to the camper. Any ideas?
Oh and yes, I have water valves in the correct position for "city Water"
Thanks

Is the line to the fridge turned on? There is often a service valve for that.
Your valves are set for city water, is there water being delivered by that port?
Has the bail that reads the ice level been lowered?
Is there enough electrical power being delivered to the fridge to run the motors for the icemaker?

My 36fbts has (2) shutoff valves for the ice maker. On mine one is in the kitchen island, inside the door on the left side underneath. The other is behind the drawer under the stove, way in the back. Also there is a test button for the icemaker, it's under the front edge of the icemaker in the middle. If you push the button it should cycle the arm and ice dump tray.

Definitely check the two valves first. According to SAMSUNG it can take up to 8 hours for it to start. If you want to speed things up hit the Quick freeze/power freeze/or whatever, can't remember the exact name right now.
Also make sure the Ice maker off button hasn't been pushed. If you see what looks like a glass up near the freezer temp it is turned off.

Thanks everyone. Found the valves. One behind the pull out garbage can in the island and one under the stove. Test button works now. Ice maker is on. And the power freeze is on. We shall see

Put enough alcohol in it and you can't taste the ice!! But you should be good if the water supply doesn't suck.

Does anyone know where the valves would be on a 2015 Pinnacle 38FLFS? My Samsung Ice Maker is not working either.

Should be one under the sink some place, check under the trash can or look for where the water lines come up through the floor.
Also is there any kind of an access panel behind the toilet under the linen closet, or on the right side of the fridge?

No valves under the sink, no access panels in the bathroom. Also no trash can in the 2015 38FLFS (except the one we provided). Checked under the unit and there are no outside panels behind it.

I just order a 375 bhfs North Point with the residential fridge. Any insight on the procedure to winterize the water/ice system on the fridge? Is it a major pain or worth it? I'm debating just not using that feature to avoid the hassle come time to tuck her away.

I was wondering the same thing. I have a ice maker already.
Is it worth filling the fridge with water?

During my PDI they had the water on to the fridge so I will have to winterize mine. They told me to blow air through the lines and then make sure to take the filter out as it holds water. My other concern in the washing machine.
