Inside light dull, using shore power

Interior lights are dull using shore power or battery? Sometimes they may brighten up.

They run of the 12 volt system, so be sure you have 12 volt and test this with a multi-meter.

Check your battery voltage. If the voltage is low, the lights are going to be dim. Otherwise, try switching out to brighter bulbs or LEDs. The LEDs are recommended, as the 8 watt bulbs are typically pretty hot...as in hot enough to turn the plastic in the light fixture brown. LEDs consume less electricity and use a lot less electricity. They also last a long time. Only down side is they're pretty pricey.

Silly question, but was your battery shut-off switch set to ON? The switch must be on, even with shore power connected.
