insulation in walls of 27.5 Eagle Ht

I'm wondering if anyone has noticed this or not. When we took our maiden voyage a few weeks back, we had a nice campsite which was partially shaded by a big tree. I would hate to think what it would have been like if we hadn't had the tree to block some of the Florida sun.

I felt the side wall near the slide out with the fridge on it, right where the sink and counter are. It was very hot, while other areas in the rv didn't seem to be that hot to the touch. There was another spot on the same side of the RV near the bathroom, again near the wardrobe slide out. Both of these spots were in direct sun light and I can't believe how hot the walls were.
Makes me think that there isn't much insulation in these walls and I'll need to keep both a/c's running to compensate for the extra load, especially if we are out in total sunshine.
Anybody else notice this in there 27.5?

I have a 26.5 BHS, and was in New Mexico with direct sunlight on the slide. Temp read 120ish on the outside of the slide. It was definitely warmer on those interior walls than others.

Yep. You can only do so much with 2" thick walls.

FWIW, in southern NM I could feel the heat on walls that faced the sun in the afternoons. Those were 6" studs with sheathing and stucco on outside, 1/2" sheetrock on inside.
