When I changed my 15" wheels out to 16" wheels, the tires were only 1" bigger diameter. It wouldn't change much clearance or access.

Great rig, but even better knowing you have had good luck with Forrest RV, considering that's exactly where I ordered our 29.5BHDS from. Supposed to be off the Jayco line 13-April, woo hoo!

Good question. I just looked at the photos I took of mine when I picked it up, and there is no plug on the slide where the sink and stove are located. There is one behind the fridge. I bet it wouldn't be hard to run some wire into the next compartment and add a plug with the wires tied up so they move when you slide the counter out.

Great, now you added something else to my to-do list....

Good idea. Have you done any other mods to it yet?

You are correct, no outlet in there.

I'm also thinking of doing exactly what you described.

I'm having the dealer (Forest) add a Maxxair vent cover to bedroom vent. I was told the bathroom vent has a new funky design and the Maxxair wont fit. Any one try to but a cover on yet?

I not sure a cover would do any good if it's like mine. It doesn't open like a regular one. Turning then handle opens some louvers on the sides that seem like they be protected.

If the industry ever changes the design of the standard 14" roof vent they will be loads of aftermarket changes to roof vents.

Do you think the new louvered design is ok without the vent cover? I put covers over my vents for piece of mind and added protection.

Not sure yet. Next time it's raining, I'm going to go test it out!

I would guess it would do ok. Turning the handle to "close" it really doesn't seem like enough effort to really seal anything, so I expect that if it was going to leak, it would leak with it closed.

I dont think you can get the top of the vent cover off to even mount a cover.
