x100,000... You'll know immediately when the microwave lights up...Then reset the GFCI to power up the outlets...

Okay, its the pole, checked with the neighbor (2 of us RV's out here), they too, are out of power since yesterday. Placed a call into the property owner for a repair. Also, most of my plugs did work on a generator except for two on my kitchen islands, is this normal? When will the plug ins turn back on again? Ugh! THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP! New to being F/Ters!!!

Nothing you can do until the power supplier gets the problem corrected.
Does your rig have wheels. I would be moving.

Kitchen island is on the GFCI. So it needs to be reset.

Exclamation Them darn plug-ins! *&^&^%$%$!!!!!

So the power is great, it was fixed at the pole! BUT no power at the island plug-ins (I have two), or the kitchen or the bathroom, all on the right side. This is making me crazy and my husband is pissed! He changed out the plug GCFI (which is now a cuss word in our RV), and there is a red light on in it, but we got nothing else. He pulled every fuse one by one and they all look good. We flipped all switches, now we are about to flip a lid!

I told him to get that tool out of storage to test all of the fuses, something has to be off and I bet its simple, isnt it, I hope?

You need not waste time checking fuses. Fuses are only used in the 12V system. No fuses are used in the 110V circuits. Only breakers and GFCI's are involved in the 110V system.

Bridges... Normally a GFCI light is a visual indication that it's tripped... Normally...

They are hard to reset with a finger...Use a screwdriver and push until you feel a solid click...

Don't fret girl... This is probably simple...Are you SURE there's not another GFCI somewhere? Trip them and reset them...Is there one outside?

Can you tell us exactly what the fix was at the pole?

".. and there is a red light on in it.." So you do have power to that outlet. Have you plugged a light or anything into that outlet? If it lights, then you are good there. If it doesn't, then the CGFI is tripped and you'll have to push the reset. As was said, you may need something to help push it. If it's tripped, you will hear the 'snap' it when it resets and feel it.

"We flipped all switches..." Did you turn each circuit breaker switch off and push it a bit further. When tripped, some circuit breaker levers need to be pushed beyond the 'off' position to reset the internal switch. Just moving the the lever to the 'off' position will turn the circuit off, but that's not enough to reset a breaker that was tripped due to a circuit problem.

As has already been said, it's probably something simple and it won't be a 12 volt fuse.

No power to that outlet. Hubbies in there now trying to reset that red button! He has already switched out the entire outlet. It will not reset he says. "ABSOLUTELY NOT. As for the pole they put in a new circuit breaker. Husband states he has reset all of the inside breakers more than once. Ugh! He is now going to take that CGFI switch back to the store and getting another new one.

If the GFI outlet has a light that is ON, then it has to be getting power from the breaker panel.

If the GFI won't reset, then it has to be a defective outlet
-OR-
there could be a fault in the circuit that won't let the GFI reset.

I'm out! I'm not an electrician, but I've done a few projects around the house. I wish I could be more help.

Could still be a park problem with a bad ground at the post, thus no ground to the trailer. Will it reset with the geny running?

What Grumpy said^^^^
First, I assume you have unplugged EVERYTHING from EVERY outlet before you started this process, right?
Get one of those outlet testers from Home Depot or Lowes. With the trailer plugged into shore power, plug the tester into one of the live non-gfci outlets. If the lights on the tester read normal, then the power coming into the trailer is OK. Then figure out which outlets do NOT have power, starting with the GFCI and open(with power off, of course) each outlet and check the wiring. Note, one GFCI could be controlling several outlets in different places, including outside.

Make sure you have the wires correct on the GFCI recp. Line on the line side and load on the load side and none of them crossed up.

There is a new type of gfci breaker out in stores now,if it senses any type of loss it trips itself thinking there is a issue,it runs tests every 3 seconds to make sure it will properly operate to a ground fault,if the self test fails then it will not power up,also if the gfci is wired improperly it will not let you reset it if it is tripped til it's wired properly.I found out the hard way how they work when installing led landscape lighting, when the timer would kick off the outlet for the lights saw no power and would trip the gfci like it should have, took me 3 days and 5 trips to the store til I figured it out. Also you should invest in a simple electrical tester, that way you can test the wiring to see where you have power or not,My gfci breakers have green lights, not sure what red means, could mean good or bad.Only other option is your not getting full power from the post,or your power cord is damaged.Restart from there, try to borrow a neighbors cord if possible
