Jack stabilizers

Was wondering if anyone has installed JT'S strong arms front landing jack stabilizers and what they think of them.

I have them and love them on my 365BHS. The rear are a little tricky to install if you have power stabilizers combined with the bike tray. When you get them dialed in it takes 95% of the wiggle out.

Take a look under the 365 BHS mods thread under mods for pictures of them installed on my unit.

I am going to purchase a set for the front landing gear only, we do not have any movement in the back with the new type of rear landing gear.

Going to buy these as you can just order the front 4 arms only for approx $185.

Looks like a good product and resonable price.

I have them on my 07 Jayco 325BHS and love them. I don't have children living at home but I couldn't see me living or camping in a RV without them. The shaking would drive me crazy. Well worth the money.

These aren't the JT's so can't comment on them.

Question?

Will you still get wiggle with an auto leveling system? Atwood on the Jayco's.

Have not seen the auto leveling setup.

Unless the front landing gear is mounted at a angle and not parallel to each other, you will get wiggle!

The shake and wiggle up front is from the side to side, front to back movement of the landing legs. The longer extended the more pronouced the "wiggle".

Robfla, you might want to consider another set of scizzor jacks to take the bounce out of the rear of your rig. I put a set just behind the rear wheels on each side and that takes my suspension out of play. With our long rigs the flex and bounce will still be there even with the stabilizers.

As for the leveling system I think the bounce will be elminated due to the 4 point stance. As for the "wiggle" you might be better off with a tripod on the king pin. I don't know if you could attach something to the legs of them. You may not need it in the end.

I can try to push my rig with the stabilizers engaged and cannot budge it. Sat through TS Irene last season with 45-50MPH gusts and barley moved it. The key is getting them engaged right which took me a few trials but now I know the procedure and get it right every time.
