jacking up jayco legacy 5th wheel

I have a jayco legacy 5th wheel on a permanent site and want to jack it up a few inches to take weight off wheels. I was planning to use wooden cribbing to support frame. Id like any tips, dos and donts before i start. Wheels currently resting on concrete slabs. in particular, i assume i retract stabilizer jacks..what about hydraulic jacks at front?

We had a 30' TT on a permanent site and I put it on concrete blocks with shims. Fifth shouldn't be any different. Just make sure the supports you put in won't settle. Use enough blocking to stabilize the trailer. I'd leave the front jack down but not on the ground for safety and maybe just cycle them once a month up and down to keep them freed up.

If they fit I'd get the pyramid blocks like used for mobile homes and decks.
