Jayco 355 MBQS

Just curious: what other manufactures did you consider before purchasing your Jayco?

Highland Ridge, Montana, Alpine, and Big Horn. Ended up with a North Point

Hey, we have not purchased the 355MBQS but its currently our #1 option. You and I have discussed this a little over DM, but this is our current list of comparable floorplans we've looked at in case anyone else wants to weigh in on these:

Jayco Eagle 355MBQS
Jayco Northpoint 377RLBH
Coachman Chapparal 391QSMB
Coachman Chapparal 392MBL
Grand Design Reflection 367BHS
Grand Design Solitude 377MBS
Highland Ridge Roamer 371MBH
Forest River Sandpiper/Sierra 372LOK

We really want some semblance of an outside kitchen and good counter space in the kitchen.

We looked at all of the big manufacturers with the similar floor plans. Tried to stay with the big manufactures just in case there were issues.

Jayco
Forest River
Keystone
Thor/Heartland and many others

Ended up choosing 2018 North Point 377 RLBK took delivery about 2 weeks ago. The DW fell in love with it and it appeared to be the best bang for the buck. I used RV Direct to get the original quote and found a local dealer willing to talk. Sleeps I say 9.5 the half is the bunk in the mid bunk room. The euro bunk in the living room, which is new for 2018, the kids really like. Pics posted in photos on the forum.

Of those choices, North Point, and Grand Design Solitude are the best two choices. We went with Northpoint 387...no issues...very happy

Have you looked at the Palomino Columbus 377MB or 377MBC ? They are on our short list along with the 355MBQS.

Forest River also makes the Sierra 372LOK with that Floor Plan.
Keystone has the Montana 3950BR

Out of all the middle bunks i've seen, the North Point 377RLBH is by far the most well-thought-out. I think they started the trend and capitalized on it while the rest of the manufacturers attempted to recreate it and haven't really capitalized on it yet.
