I would rather have the 5th Airborne again. It didn't chuck this bad, or maybe it's just the difference between the two rigs.
My only experience with pin boxes has been with the fixed extended Lippert pin box that came with my CC new and my current 5th Airborne. I love this pin box and am checking to see if it will fit the frame of the 377. If it does that will be part of the trade-in deal - swapping pin boxes. if it doesn't, I will get a new 5th Airborne that does fit the 377 frame. That means I will have to give the MORryde a chance before I make the switch. The MORryde that comes with the 377 seems to just move on one plane and does not have the up and down dampening that an air bladder and shock absorber would provide. They do make one with a bladder and shock but they are exposed while with the Fifth Airborne they are protected inside the inbox.
My Reese hitch plate tilts fore and aft as well as side to side -- add that to the inflatable bladder and shock absorber on the 5th Airborne and it is sooooo very pleasant to ride in the truck while towing -- even over very uneven roads. Not to mention how much easier it is on the trailer.
