Wish we had bought one pre auto leveling and pre Schwintek slides! Instead we have lost thousands trading the poor leveling system for a Schintek slide that leaves you stuck because the motors fail!

Can't vote in your poll because I guess my model is too old. It's a Quest TSL 5th wheel.

We are first time RV Owners. We bought a Jayco because it had the right floorpan and features. The quality seemed a step above the Forest River products. We are realizing that all campers use the same components and we have been disappointed by required repairs even though covered by warrantee. Overall, we are still pleased with our Jayco Eagle 317RLOK. Its a very comfortable and capable place for us to live while traveling 3 - 4 months of the year.

We did a lot of research before buying our first new Rv so bought Jayco, top of the line. It was a 2013 Pinnacle that we traded in on our 2015 Eagle Premier (precursor to North Point) because the auto leveling on the '13 dodnt work 75% of time. Now the Eagle premier kitchen slide (Schwintek) has been giving us trouble. 2 major repairs and we have $5000 plus just in slide out repairs though extended warranty covered the bulk of that. The second repair, we took it to Lippert and they rebuilt the whole thing just this month. They said Jayco had not followed their specifications for installation so they had to shim out the slide, add extra inside the rv braces, and brace up the frame in 3 places under the slide. Meanwhile, in Goshen Indiana where Lippert is located, we were far from our Texas home so had the extra expenses of a motel room, and meals.

Ordered our 2019 North Point 377RLBH to replace our stolen toy hauler. Decided against another toy hauler as we plan on full timing at least for a while once the house sells and we see what direction my army career is going. Can't wait to get back to camping again!!

2014 eagle touring series 28.5rkds

guess i am a little late to this thread. in feb of 2015 we bought a 2014 eagle touring series 28.5rkds gvw of 10500lbs and 32 feet long. couple that had it ,used it for not even a year and traded it for a bigger one. we looked at this one for 5 months or so before we purchased it. i have never seen another touring series in our travels, think they only made them for a few years . we are very happy with it. still pull it with the 2000 dodge 2500
it came with the 50amp service and 10 gallon hot water heater and thermo pane window which up here we really like! the front cap is fading but have buffed it out twice this year to keep it looking good. it also had the awnings over the slide outs and max air vents over all roof vents.

jayco pinnacle quality

Just getting ready to head out for the next 2 months. Purchased a new 2017 pinnacle 37rsts last October. Have taken 3 trips so far for a total of 16 nights and 1500 miles. This coming trip will be for 2 months, a little over 2000 miles with 7 stops. Quality has been OK so far, not perfect but within reason. No major failures, or any major problems. Small cosmetic issues popping up that I have dealt with on my own. Have not had to take back to dealer or a Jayco shop. So far we are happy campers and enjoying the Jayco, the GMC is working great. Happy to have gotten this far and looking forward to our retirement years on the road, again.

My wife and me are what I consider to be extended stays.

I am fortunate, wife of 34 years, 2 great sons, new Duramax diesel and a nice RV to travel in. Doesn't get any better than this. Could not have imagined this story 50 years ago. But here I am smiling all the way.

Hope to spend 6 months a year on the road enjoying our country and all that it has to offer.

2017 GMC Denali, Duramax diesel, lb,cc,drw, auxiliary 45 gal tank, curt25Q

2017 pinnacle 37rsts.

Haweignberger, hope things continue to go well for you. We had no problems with our Eagle Premier until it was a little over 2 years old axnd out of warranty. Since then, about $5000 in repairs on large Schwintek kitchen slide. Had the whole thing rebuilt at Lippert about a month ago. Glad for extended warranty!!

Bought a new 2018 Northpoint 315RLTS in May. We had it out on a short test trip finally in September. The reason is that it has been at the dealer's the rest of the time and is back at the dealer's again. So far around 20+ things wrong from stove, fridge, slide-out noise, stripped screws from overtightening, lower undercarriage cover falling off, clothes bars too short, furnace duct not installed, water heater locked out, etc.

hello, and thanks for the accept. we have a 2016 Eagle 29.5 5er. love it. have made a few trips since getting it say 1000 miles or so. we recently retired and want to take a month long trip next year so while it is at the storage lot i do maintenance on it getting it ready for the next trip. this time while repacking the wheel bearings and changing out the grease seals i noticed one of the shackles was about to pull thru. i started looking for replacement parts and saw one on ETrailer that has metal bushings and grease zerts but a little confused and their professional wasn't much help, has anyone had to replace theirs. mine has 1 3/4 wide springs and the shackles are 3 1/2 long end to end.
