What do you pull your NP 381 with? Interested in the 381DLQS but now I'm pretty sure our Ford F-250 6.7 Turbo Diesel won't pull it. So now we are looking at purchasing a 315RLTS.

Have a Jayco Eagle 5th Wheel and love it. On our way for our fourth summer in or near Yellowstone NP, all the way from Houston.
Question: I always notice a WIFI seemingly attached to me, that I have no password for. How do I go about accessing it and setting up a PW?

WiFi

If you see a Wifi available it may be the OneControl Wifi connection that controls your lights, awning, jacks and slides.

Getting ready, to pick my new coach up June 18. They're putting the slide out awnings on and installing my companion hitch on my 2018 f250. Looking for to seeing the country in our new Jayco!

Our password was on a sticker inside one of the cabinets. (Coat closet nearest the control panel) But I still don't know what to use it for, except that now I can control some stuff from my phone (slides, levelers, etc). But we have a lot to learn about data and hotspots and such.

Just put down a DP for a 2020 Jayco 28.5 and hope to pick it up next week. Traded in a 20' TT and traded in my Ram 1500 for a RAM 2500HD. Just need to have the hitch put in the bed and we'll be ready to go.

Anything special I should know about a 5th wheel?

You need to take corners a little wider, and practice backing up somewhere where's there's lots of room, before having to back up into a campsite. They're a little different than a TT.

Thanks, that’s what I’ve been a little concerned about.

Get a teflon disc for the kingpin and like
Jflightrisk said, practice backing up as you have to watch the clearance between the truck cab and the 5th wheel front cap when turning!
Many people have done damage to the truck and trailer when backing into camping sites

We went to Sam's Club parking lot Christmas day (closed) with some orange cones and practiced parking and backing up. Our longbed truck has the turning radius of a 747 and takes getting used to. Also getting used to the 6 cameras around the truck plus the one on the back of the 5ver. It was humbling

there are some good youtubes out there but the creators often are not exactly Steven Spielberg so they can be tedious to watch.

Our first back-in site was a blind-side (to the right) and i gratefully accepted help from a professional trucker to keep from losing an A/C from a tree limb.

It gets better...

Good luck and congrats!!

DCosta

We have 2018 Jayco Eagle 321rsts absolutely love it the only thing I changed was the bathroom fan because my wife loves the fresh to come in side windows in bedroom but it also acts as a whole house fan.I installed a Dometic fan-tastic fan works like a charm, with remote. Most salesmen will tell you that if you get 8 out 10 things you want in your coach your doing good, but we feel we got 10 for 10.
