Jayco Designer 36 RLTS 3 Thermostats?

Hi, I am a new owner of a 07 Jayco Designer 36 RLTS. I googled this and searched the forum and can't seem to find an answer. Nor can I find out anything in my manuals. My camper has 3 thermostats. It has 1 AC unit and is wired for another. There is the main heating/AC thermostat in the center control area, but then there is also one in the bedroom and one by the rear picture window in the rear of the camper. Both of these secondary thermostats have temperature controls only. I don't notice them doing anything when I slide the temp controls when the AC is on, but it was just a quick test. So the question is do these do anything currently? I was assuming the one in bedroom would be for a second AC, but whey the other one in the rear of the camper? Any clarification would be great. You may have a couple thermostatically controlled ceiling vent fans. Let the rig warm up inside and slide the temp control to 65 or so. If that's what they are, a vent will open and the fan will start. In mine, the unit is off when the temp slider is all the way to the left.

Thanks for the info. I will check back. That sounds right. The previous owner was mentioning that they often used the ceiling vents to cool, so that's likely it.

Oh yeah - I am guessing you need to have some windows open to make this work? That's what I recall the previous owner saying that he opened some windows.

I have 99 and have two them and one did not seem to do anything.. I will check that too. Let me know what you come up with.

Yep. That was it. I have two vent fans called "create-a-breeze". I found the manuals on them and it is explained. I kept looking for information on the thermostats in the A/C information. I never thought to check the vent fan instructions. Seem to work well. Nice feature!

Cool (pun intended). Before we got all fancy with the thermostatically controlled stuff, we just turned on the bath vent fan and open one bedroom slide window a little. Nice summer breeze
