Jayco Eagle low point water drains

I bought a used 2009 Jayco Eagle 28.5RLS fifth wheel and now need to winterize it. The manual says to look for the low drain points for the water system on the outside of the camper which I have located but it says the valves are actually inside the camper adjacent to where they are marked outside. I have looked high and low and can't find a valve anywhere. Can someone please tell me where they are or how to drain the system? Thanks for any advice.

A lot of times you have to remove a panel to locate the drains. Look for a panel you can remove inside at the approximate location of the outside labels. You also might find the panel inside a storage compartment.

I have 4 drains on my 2008 Eagle, a pair on each side of the trailer. They are located where they are marked on the outside, just have to reach up under the skirting to find them. The valves are at the end of each drain - must have changed on 2009's.

Mine were located under the bathroom sink.

Not quite the same model, but on mine one is underneath the left rear corner on the outside. Small white valve. Easy to spot. For the other, open the right side main baggage door to the basement. There is a small square panel screwed onto the left wall of the compartment, near the door edge. Take that off, and the same small valve will be found. Only identification is a sticker on the panel, that may have fallen off. (as well as the misleading one on the outside!)

There are two of them inside the main baggage door square. I took the screws out after the first year and put some mirror hangers in with small bolts so I just have to swivel the top on to the side and the panel comes off and I can get to the valves very easily.

Remember these are "Pull Up" drains not twist. Couldn't figure out why they just kept turning and nothing was happening. LOL Got mad and pulled up on it and bamm, started to drain.

That's funny! I did the same thing this year with my new Jayco. Never had those kind of valves before. I kept twisting and thinking that there must not be any water in the lines. Then I figured it out and got soaked because I was of course kneeling right next to them to see.

BTW, mine are inside the baggage compartment behind a small panel I have to unscrew. Just look for the sticker on the outside of the trailer, then either go directly underneath it or inside of it and you should find them.

ours are in the storage locker on each side(2ea ,4total) on entry door side BEHIND a small ,maybe 4x4,panel with 2 screws.Should be a decal on outside near where they drain.

On my fifth wheel, directly above the drain hoses is one of my storage doors. Inside is a chintzy access door which used to have screws holding it on. I've since put velcro on it because I'm in there so often. Also, I cut the pex tubing and both extended the outside sections to clear the skirt, and put on quarter turn brass ball valves. Trace the hoses and you'll find them.

That is a very good idea Cosmik. Mine are above the skirt and drain into it. Water runs everywhere. Don't guess it will hurt anything but would be much better to have the drains clear the skirt!

I have the 2014 30.5 BHLT and I can't find the low level drain. I found the ball valve by the stairs and one behind the right rear wheel but I think they just drain the fresh water tanks. I heard this unit has two tanks.
