Jayco model preview...

Does anyone know when Jayco releases it weight information on the 2017 models? I'm talking about dry weight, hitch weight, etc...

I know the Eagle Ht 27.5 rlts had a 300 # hitch weight between 2015 and 2016. From 12xx to 1525#.

I will prob go to the local RV show in January, but didn't want to get a '16 if the '17 would drop some.

They seem to historically be late in updating their web site.

Thanks Norty1, maybe a better question is, historically has Jayco added weight on the hitch for a model year then ever gone the opposite way in the following year???

I think it will come in about the same give or take 100#, but you also must consider your loaded trailer and how that is going to affect the pin weight. If you are that close on the pin weight odds are you will be north of a comfort level you are shooting for.

Typically the first year of a new model the numbers seem light then increase or decrease the next year due to many factors. One being that I think the pin weights are generated by calculation then achieved with a scale once production is in full swing. My unit has gained over 845# overall and the pin is now 150# more. It's the same unit, but the sales sheet specs vary.

Also changes in Furniture supplier, minor feature additions, etc.
