The dealer shoud be doing all of that for you. Again a "CRAPPY" dealer.

If it were me, I would call Jayco, give them the VIN and ask what can be done.

I would tell Jayco to replace it and if no is the answer get a lawyer. This really sucks on a new unit. I have mine on order as of two weeks and second guessing now. How can anything like that make it thru and kind of a QA. You can only do so much on the initial inspection u cannot check in the roof and walls or floor

Skynard - we've had a nightmare of a 2014 Jayco Pinnacle 5th wheel purchase thru Camping World - ABQ. Bought late in 2015 brand new. Initial walk thru smelled like an electrical fire - turns out bad AC in living room. Additional problems include front cross member of frame damaged - as if transport driver snagged something pretty large then patched an repainted it. We did NOT crawl under our brand new camper upon walk-thru as it was in a wet shop bay floor after "supposed" protective coating applied for additional $$, altho Jayco says no such thing as the paint is gel capped! Moryde axle on loppers frame and left-right tire space from front to back is 2" on 1 side and 5 inch on opposite side!! WOW! Have filed with BBB-Indiana and NHTSA in DC. Waiting on word back from in-person frame inspection by Lippert frame manufacturer & Jayco Consumer Affairs personnel. What have you got to say in the way of updates from your issues, as this is an older post - please & thanks!
