The truck is a Ford F250 Lariat Super Duty CC with the 6.0 turbo diesel and the rear springs have what looks like air bags between the axle and frame but can see no air lines. Maybe (Timbrens) I will look closer tomorrow. The truck was used for Towing and had the rails already in the bed for 5th wheel towing. It also has Bilstein shocks.
I am going to weigh the truck maybe today without the fiver. According to the Ford Spec's and the tag on the door jamb, the GVWR is 9800 Lbs But in the manual it says that the 6.0L with 3.73:1 or 4.10:1 axle ratio can pull 23,500 Lbs Max GCWR. I really won't know were I am at until I weigh everything on a truck scale. Anyone in the forum pulling a Designer 31RLTS with a F250 Super Duty or GM 2500HD?
Im using a stock 2003 GMC 3/4 Crew long bed Duramax for tv on Eagle 31RLTS.
These trucks are rated at 15K tow cap on the 5th/gooseneck(only wieght I can remeber this am).You shouldnt have any problems.
