LED's ?

Has anyone upgraded their 12v lights to the new LEDs yet? I have a couple of the older lights that have burned out and was wondering if they are worth the money or not..

We boondog 90+ % of the time. It helps managing battery power nicely.

On my previous TT, I changed out every interior light to LED, including the light inside the fridge, and the one in the vent hood. We boondock 50%+, so changing out all the bulbs was part of my solar build.

Just switched mine out, $24 including shipping. Wife hates the bright white even though that's what she asked for, so make sure you pick the right color

Do you have the wedge base bulbs or the two pin base style bulbs?

If you have the pin bulbs... use these.
LE[emoji768] 3W G4 LED Bulbs, 40W Halogen Bulbs Equivalent, 12 V AC/DC, 280lm, 120° Beam Angle, Warm White, 3000K, G4 Bulb, Bi-Pin Light Bulbs, LED Light Bulbs, Pack of 6 Units https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NTTJCZS..._WU5vxbQXXV7ND

I just replaced all mine with these. They are low Kelven rated so they are a warm like just like the old incandescent bulbs.

If you have the wedge bulbs... use these:
Brightech - Package of 10 LED Replacements for Malibu Landscape Lights - T10 Wedge Base - 12V DC - Warm White Color - Bring Your Landscape Lighting to the 21st Century https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009DRF3VW..._EW5vxb0FKD64E

Again, low Kelven... so warm light. They are perfect replacements for the wedge base bulbs... and for the price... they can't be beat. I replaced all my wedge bulbs with these as well.

I just changed out all my G4 bulbs with the sames ones mentioned by J Lockhart. They work great. Hard to tell any difference in light visually.

I changed out the reading lights years ago and have a few more over the dineing table yet to go.

Since your in the "hot zone" you will find that LED's emit less heat than the bulbs you have now.. It may not seem like a big deal but if you have lots of lights on it adds up. IF you boondock a lot then YES always switch over as they save a lot of electricity.
