Question Lifting a Jayflight

Hi all! I'm new to the forum.

I've got a 2007 Jayflight 285RLS. I recently picked up a new truck, and it is taller than the old one, and I need more clearance on the bed rails. Anyone have any experience with raising these campers up on the brackets?

It looks like my camper has 3 brackets, 1 in the middle, and 1 on either side of the tires. The outside brackets have 3 holes, and the middle only has 2.

Is there a trick to moving these? Do I just unbolt one arm from the bracket then jack up the camper to where I want it to be and put the bolt back in?

Any help would be great, thanks!

John

Theres no trick to it if you have the proper equipment. You might want to have your dealer do it if its still under warrenty.

My advice is have a dealer do it. My new 5th wheel needed to be raised for more clearance on my pickup ect ect and the dealer did it in about an hour.
