Exclamation Lighted Control Panel

We took possession of our 2015 Eagle Premier 331RETS a couple months ago. The build sheet indicates a "Control Panel Lighted". I take this as the panel is backlit so you can see the switch labels. The only thing illuminated on my panel (other than a couple rocker switches) is the Jay Bird. Is that what they mean by lighted? The panel is so dark I can't see the switch labels without a flashlight. Is it wishful thinking on my part to think it has a backlight?

If it helps, there are a few descriptions of a mod here on JOF, where a small magnetic switch / and magnet are mounted to the box and door and turn on an led light overtop the cabinet when the door is opened.

stumpjumper used my idea for this light. I couldn't find my original post. It's pretty simple and fairly inexpensive. I got tired of switching by brail, so I installed this light and labeled my switches with a label maker; works great, still one of my most useful mods to date!

Could that be a reference to the water control panel? Ours has a light fixture mounted there.

Thanks for the response. Camper Bob- I was looking at your mod last night. If indeed my panel doesn't have a backlight, I will be using your mod.

RedHorse1- The panel I am referring to is the main control panel as you come in the door with the light, awing, water heater switches are in.
