Looking at Eagle super lite 31.5 fbhs

Family and I were t.v. shopping the other day and found a fifth wheel we really liked. 2010 Eagle super lite 31.5FBHS. Any experiences with this model? Dealer's asking price was 21000. Real clean, looks good but I'm new to tv's. Any advice on what to look out for and opinions of this model would be appreciated. Also any negotiation tips, since I don't have a trade in I'm assuming there should be a fair amount of room in that price. Thanks

We have a 2011 31.5 RLTS That we bought new for $26500. We added toppers to all three slides which took it to $29000. I know thats not exactly what you asked but possibly it will give you some idea where you need to be. How many amenities such as slide toppers, thermapane windows and other add ons can change the price significantly.

Thanks, I looked up the nada values. Low end is in the 18000 range and high around 22000. It's getting pretty late in the season around here (got down to mid 40's last night) so I would think they would be looking to move it.

We purchased a 2012 31.5 fbhs new and love it. Only modification I have done is add a second AC. However, you are up north, thus I suspect you will not need a 2nd AC unit.

Hi Shorty. Not sure if you still have the same trailer now but is there anything that you dont like about its layout? toilet or shower area specifically. I am buying one and was kind of unsure about the separate toilet and shower/basin area. Did you find it to work ok?

Higgy, We love the separated toilet and shower. It allows movement from bedroom to living room while the toilet is in use. In general, the floor plan works great for our needs. The one thing I don't like is the location of the interior light switch. It is inside a switch box at the door. One has to open the little door to get to the switch.

Picked up the 2012 31.5 fbhs today I swapped my 2014 266rks for it. So much more room. I thought now we dont have young kids that the smaller trailer would be ok but with wet clothes and dogs it was a nightmare. Dont care that its a little older. Its far better for us. Looking forward to getting away in it shortly.
