Main ac not cooling

Main ac in a 2017 north point 375bhfs not keeping up when outside temp is over 80. Tried running on different setting, I keep ac on high auto. Water is dripping from return vents in ceiling and the ceiling speakers. Anyone have this issue before, thank you

Is your filter clean? If it's slightly clogged it will slow the airflow down and it will begin to freeze.

It sounds like the AC ducts may not be connected to the vents and the air is escaping up and into the roof cavity. There are several posts here about people pulling out the vents and sealing the duct to the roof opening as there have been reports of these separating.

After doing that to improve more you could remove the cover from the AC unit on the roof and insulate the AC system as the return is just a big metal box on the roof getting heated up.

You are probably freezing up but with that kind of water coming in you need to take it in I'm afraid. For water to be in the speakers can't be good for the ceiling. I don't like this new duct system to much can go wrong and you can't get to it.

You can go up top and look but it does take some handyman skills. You have to take a some covers off and still can't see much.

Yea I was afraid of that. People dont spend this type of money on these units for so much to go wrong. I still have several big issues that have been going on for a few months now and we are getting alot of resistance from Jayco. Our unit cant be taken into a dealer yet due to a slide out being stuck open.

Yes a lot of money. I spent 40 years in industrial maintenance. I don't like it when things don't work. Especially when it's made hard to get to.

Yes maybe lacking. But better than most and not as good as some. They can do better, I hope they keep trying.

I have to add on my 3rd Jayco so far I've been able to make all my own repairs. So just going on things I have read. Quality should always be the higher goal. Even if you use a inexpensive part do a quality job when you install it.
