Mine said it came with a 15 second delay but could be changed to 136 second delay, if ac's did not have built in delay from factory. I think I will set it to 136.

When arriving at a campsite the 1st thing I do is get power to the RV. By the time I raise the jacks and get the hose hooked up the inverter has powered up. I rarely notice the wait anymore.

Cannon,

I just installed mine last week-end. I set the delay to 136 seconds because when I contacted Jayco they informed me that the A/C unit doesn't have a compressor delay. The only delay is at the T-Stat. Because of this, Jayco recommended the 136 second delay at the EMS to provide full protection of the A/C units.

I installed mine in the basement behind the wall. I needed ~8ft of 6/3 wire to run from the EMS to the power center. I did not cut the original 6/3 wire, this way, if I change campers I can remove the EMS and restore the original wiring.

Also, I switched the red & black wires at the 50A breakers so the Black wire connected to the 50A Leg 1 breaker and the Red wire connected to the 50A Leg 2 breakers. This way if you follow the EMS instructions for wiring the unit (i.e., Black wire to L1 & T1 and Red wire to L3 & T3), the Line 1 and Line 2 info presented at the EMS display with be consistent with Leg 1 and Leg 2 of the trailer.

I chose this location for the EMS because Progressive Industries indicated that the EMS does generate heat and to locate it in a ventilated area.

I also bought a remote display and switch so I could have a switch inside and by the LCI leveling system control panel.

I had to purchase a 25' data cable to run from the switch to the inside display. The data cable is a RJ11 4 Conductor Straight Wired Modular Telephone Cable - 25 FT that I got from the Computer Cable Store.

I've attached a couple of pictures.

FYI - the EMS' relay contactors make a loud click when engaging.

More info then you asked for but hope some of this is helpful.
Good luck.

ROC...is your leveling controller fixed to that wall inside the compartment?
You actually have to bend over and stick your head in to see the control?
Wow

Klassic,

Yup, but it's not as bad as it looks. I think my year FW (2015) was the last they mounted the leveling controller that way.
I actually prefer it mounted as is instead of on the outside of the door as with the newer models, because I have to open the door anyway to get out power cord, etc. I always plug into shore power before leveling. But that's just my personal preference, probably because that's how I've gotten used to doing it. I'm a creature of habit .

Has anybody put a gas strut on the utility’s bay door to keep it open from blowing shut in the wind and such if so. What size was used and brackets

Hey Pappyt2
I have installed magnets to hold the doors open on that side of the camper. In the pics the magnets are hard to see since they are brown on the brown trim

Not so much a mod, as a repair. Went to glue down the lifting thermofoil edges around the sink opening in the bathroom. The glue I brought with me wasn’t drying as fast as I anticipated, so I needed to whip up a makeshift vise. A bunch of the kid’s Jenga blocks wedged with some paper towels along the rim edge did the trick.

Can’t figure out the link but here is a screen shot, from Amazon of course!
I have them on the outside kitchen door instead of that stupid clippey thingy and then the 2 doors on the drivers side to keep them from blowing closed
Carefully drill the holes and then silicone the holes and backs.
Works great

I hung my bbq tools on end wall by fridge. I use a standing paper towel holder I set on small table I use or picnic table. Been thinking about a 6x6x30 cabinet to mount on back wall against top of kitchen. Won't hold much just some small items.

Anybody know if they put a inline fuse in anywhere for the second awning lights. I had power, installed a remote dimmer and lost power to just the lights.
Panel fuse is for all the exterior lights and everything else still works. Frustration has set in. I need to go camping soon😁

Hey Stevek10
Did the lights work at all after the dimmer was put on?

Just solved my problem. Thinking about it all day. There was a blown fuse on the one control panel. Now I have to figure out what caused it, me or a bad dimmer

Went to lube dinette slide and saw where tire had rubbed against slide. No marking on tire but clean spot on slide rail. Maybe axle twist from turning around in driveway to back in shed. Anybody seen this on there 377? Black part is tire and break dust. Shinny part is where it rubbed dust off.
