Ya.. You have to change out the faucet.
The shower handle is useless.
The quick connect with the coiled hose and a sprayer has a hundred uses.

My SOB came stock with one. I can't imagine being with out it now. First "mod" I did when I backed it into my driveway. I even paid the dealer for the outrageously overpriced valve because it was right there on their shelf.

Klassic,

Do you remember if yours was the 4" spread faucet on the outdoor shower or the 3.5"?
I had one on my sob and used it all the time. Have not used my current one once yet.

Thanks for asking! I was going to take mine apart to try to figure it out!

This afternoon's project, you ask? Installation of the hard-wired Progressive EMS-HW50C electrical management system. The only difficulty was the way that Jayco had wired the umbilical cord into the pan box. They had the white wire about 4" longer than the others, and mounted to the far left of the bus bar, while the black, red, and ground were more in the center. Struggled getting that back together a bit, but otherwise an easy job. Everything that you need is in the kit, except for 3' of 6-3w/g wire ($6 at Home Depot) and two screws to mount the remote voltage.amperage/hertz/faults display.

Fits well in the space behind the factory converter, panel box.

Mounted my display below the panel box.

What did you order, Tom? I was just going to he'd to Home Depot to see what I could get off the shelf? Is there a specific product that's better?

Don't know if I'd say it's a better product but it is set up with the quick connect.

My wife has kindly asked me to request you all stop having such good ideas. Says it's costing her too much money.

After seeing Klassic's mod last night, I found the quick disconnect faucet at DW Inc. available in white or black. Amazon seemed to only have the white. Just an FYI for anyone looking to switch that up.

Fire, any pics of the EMS unit itself? I like the location although my 12mo and 2yo might force me to choose a different path.

Wife currently has me working on a curtain mod for the loft. We ordered a direct mount ceiling curtain track (Robot Check). It expands from 66-108" and we measured the entire length of the loft at 73 with the opening somewhere in the 60's. We plan to have it extend behind the wall of the opening so the curtain can be pulled all the way back and secured in some fashion when finished. Other than the track, it's just a simple custom curtain (youtube is your friend). I'll be sure to share pics when we have it all complete.

Struts and registers should be here soon. Thanks for those ideas as well. I went with a different 2x10 register on Ebay (Accord ABFRBR210). Ended up paying only 39 for all 5 vs the 60+ at Amazon.

I didn't take any photos of the unit behind the electrical panel. Saw no need. It's mounted in-line, per the instructions, using a 3' piece of 6-3 w/ ground that I got at the local Home Depot. I "tucked" it in there, rather than screwing it down, as that allowed me to slide it into place, then slide the breaker panel into place.

The display has a 6+ foot cord (I didn't measure, but it's at least that long.). I needed about 24". I could have mounted it elsewhere, but that would have required fishing the wall or partial disassembly of the closet to get the wire into the wall. After looking at it, the baseboard mount makes the most sense, mad it's right next to the electrical panel, and more importantly, visible from the outside , so that I can be checked, as soon as you plug in.

Thank you for the information. Looks good. Maybe I'll look for some sort of cover to have the monitor in that location but keep the kids from turning on the bypass.

We did this as well. I put up the rod and my wife used some old sheets that we had and made them into a short curtain that slides across to give my oldest some privacy at night. Luckily the old sheets matched the interior. Whenever I get my 377 back from the dealership I'll take a pic.

Thank you for the link, jnamadison! Saved almost $20 with your supplier on my order, vs what I would have paid for the same items from Amazon!

Bought the quick disconnect faucet, the 15' coil hose, and the hose connector.

Working in the basement woodshop on some other projects today, but I had the perfect size piece of scrap plywood to cut the 25.5" x 10.5" (with a notch for the nose jack) piece to put a floor in the spare propane compartment. I don't see myself carrying a third propane bottle, so in the meantime, I can carry leveling blocks in there.....

Heat control

Put insulation board under the stairs behind furnace return. Then put up heat shield window cling to the a few of the living room windows. So far she'd 2 degrees off of the living room temperature. Over the next week I am going to complete the entire camper. Also, for the dead heat of Summer im going to have insulation bird cut out for the widows as well. I'll just tuck them in behind the shades. I'll loose the view but I won't be sweating. FIRE INSTRUCTORS thanks again for the screen names. I'll be putting those in on Monday.
