We picked up our new 377 this past Tuesday. I thought I would share some photos of things that have changed. I've read through this whole mod thread and noticed a few things have been improved. Perhaps Jayco is getting some ideas from this forum...

Stair treads have been changed to wood. Although the risers are still carpet.

One other thing is the bathroom vent fan. It's now the same fan as is in the kitchen, Maxx Fan I think. No rain sensor, but nice and quiet.

Beautiful rig Dmax! If/when we decide to upgrade to a 5th wheel, the 377 will be it. Love the spare bedroom that could be used for an office as well as a playroom. I noticed on the Jayco website the 377 floorplan offers a rear optional carpet line. My wife loves carpet so that's how we'll order it. I've looked at plenty of 377's on line but can't find a picture of one with the rear carpet. Again, beautiful rig and I noticed you have the slide covers. A must for us as well.

Sweet set up! I love your 17 super duty. One of my next mods was going to be opening up a cubby under the BH cabinet for shoe storage. Thanks for sharing pics of the new trailer. Happy camping!

That's funny Tom, I was wondering the same thing. I've been eyeballing this. New 2017 Ford Super Duty F-350 DRW Lariat 4WD Crew Cab 8' Box Crew Cab Pickup in Martinsville #H7108 | Ray Skillman Hoosier Ford Gonna need it if we decide to order the 377. Only bad thing it's not a Platinum. My F-250 only has 2400lbs of payload and thats not gonna get it.

That's a nice truck you've got your eye on! I'd be happy with that, even if it isn't a platinum

I'd like to change my name, but not sure how or even if you can.

Also, I forgot to mention that it came with Goodyear tires. Dealer says that all new Jaycos now come with Goodyear tires. These are not the top of the line Goodyears, but still E rated with max pressure of 80 psi and of course "Made in the USA"! They have to be better than the Chinese ones.

Can you post a picture of your hinge?
I see no screw on my hinge that would have anything to do with tension.
All the hinges on my rig are the same.

Klassic, I would love too, however ours is on order.. The rep adjusted what looked like a screw in the rear near the middle of the latch (that's what it looked like from where i was standing)..

Are you talking about cabinet door hinges?

Yes...notably the hinges on the doors that open upwards.
A bunch of us put struts on to keep them up, but LT was told there is a tension adjustment screw to turn that will hold them up.
I'm sceptical.
I have nothing like that.

I'm with klassic on this. I doubt there's any adjustment screw on the hinges

As I mentioned a few days ago, we just picked up our 2017 that rolled off the line the end of Jan. No such adjustment screws exist on any of our cabinet doors, regardless of how they open.
I wish it was as simple as a screw though! I put the hold open rods on all the ones that open upwards.

air vents

Thanks for all the ideas and information.

Just got my unit the other month and while doing a few changes today I noticed the direction of some of the AC vents in the ceiling. Seems to me that they did not think of the direction they were pointing when they installed them. Anyway I unscrewed many of them and pointed them to my satisfaction. I am not a heating and air guy but it makes more sense to me to point them in certain directions.

Anyway thanks for all the good info!
