Twice a year normally. I take the weight off of the suspension to do so. Guess it depends on how much you use the rig. No more than we're going now, I could probably stick to once a year during the brake inspection and bearing repack.

I'll never claim I'm right. I just do the trial and error thing. So far no issues. Seems anything is better than the stock bushings, the grease isn't really going anywhere, similar to the bearings over the year. Sure you don't have a seal the bearings have, but nor do you get the abuse the bearing does. Just my worthless opinion. Not sure if there is a magic answer. I just know a greased bushing works better than a dry nylon bushing.
I thought about testing the Lippert Never Fail bushings on one of my less used trailers, just for the heck of it. Might do that. I don't like Lippert, but wth, I'll be one of the test dummies for it.

Put in the new shower head this afternoon. I had also ordered this latch (see photo) to secure the outer door where the water dock/dump handles and power reel are located. I just wish they made the extended latch in black. I haven't decided yet if I want to put it on?? As a side note, I also attached a mini bungee to the shower enclosure so that it stays in place...don't want to have to replace the shower door again...nor do I want to have to clean up the mess! I'm gonna try and maneuver my wires tomorrow so that I too can have a "Tom's Shoe Cubby" in the bunk room!

Mods to 377 RLBH?
Got the wet bolts and X factor bracing done today. Wasn't too bad but would have been a lot easier with a helper.
This is the brace that goes between the two center shackles.
Before
Leaf spring has plastic bushing, CRE already had brass so I left it
Bad zerk but there were extra bolts in the kit so I swapped it out
Here you see the brace added to shackle
Since I was already there, I decided to look at brakes again and pack bearings. 2 of 4 brakes were contaminated [emoji30]
Drivers side
Lots of grease!
Finishing up
Taking a break
Sorry for lack of detailed pics...my hands were covered in grease.

Hi Tom
Did you jacked up the trailer with the trailer jack to keep the frame up or did you used some support under the frame.
I can see the support under the axle but looks like the trailer is supported with the normal jacks.
That looks like a great and pretty easy upgrade to the cre 3000.
Btw my 17.5 wheels should arrive next week will post pictures when done.

Mods to 377 RLBH?
Thierry,
My trailer is parked at my house on a concrete slab with the 6 point leveling system down.
The directions say to jack up the trailer and use a floor jack to support the axles. So what I did was just remove tires and support axles with jack stands as you see in the pics. Then use floor jack to raise or lower as needed the axle to remove the shackles.
You must use a hammer to remove the bolts once the nut is removed as bolts are press fit into the plates.
I would probably use extra bracing/blocking/cribbing if the trailer wasn't on a level concrete slab.
Good luck with yours!
Check your brakes for grease while you're at it. Especially if you feel you don't have enough stopping power.

Cheap seals I guess. What chaps my hide is when I did my initial investigation after fixing the corroded wire, I didn't look at all 4 brakes. I just looked at one on each side. Of course I looked at the ones that were clean! Go figure. [emoji30]
Now I think I'm going to rethink my "need" for discs. As mopar Earl said on another post, good bearings and seals, with clean and properly functioning brakes should be enough for proper stopping. Of course my need to make my trailer better than stock may win out. I don't want to do this job twice so I may just get discs. Need to get the boss' (wife) feedback as I think from a safety aspect, I could persuade her that the discs are the only way to go.

Yes I am under warranty still. Unlike klassic, I didn't have brake problems from getgo. Mine just developed. I guess I thought the dealer would deny the claim due to "lack of maintenance" or something. Plus, if I did get warranty work done, it would be replaced with the same crappy parts. Guess I need to call the dealer.

I almost guarantee the dealer/Jayco will say you over heated the brakes causing seal failure.
Rock had to dance like a monkey to get them to replace his melted rim and parts. They said he did it.
