Hi Tom, and everyone. I'm new to the forum (obviously, lol). We are picking up our 377RLBH next week, and I'm putting together my mod and inspection lists.

I'm also amassing a rather large pile of things in my Amazon list of things I want to get. Our old rig has 12 year old stuff, and most of our gear is pretty worn, so I'm plotting replacements of a lot of things.

I like what you have here with the knife holder, and really like the beadboard backsplash. How did you mount the beadboard and knife holder? Did you drill into the walls, or mount it another way?

Also, what brand knife holder did you decide on? I found a lot I liked, but many of them had weak magnets, and last thing I want is knives flying about while we're pulling!

Thanks!

Vicky Rowe

Vicky

My trailer came with the beadboard installed. The knife holder was purchased at bed bath and beyond (I think). I just screwed into the beadboard with some short screws.

Thanks Tom. We take delivery next week, I'll see what's what then.

Thanks everyone for all the great ideas! I've added a bunch of stuff to my mods stash on Amazon, and have a couple pages of notes, lol. The DH got tired of listening to me read him mod descriptions!

Hello all, has anybody thought about adding a dishwasher where the bottom drawer is on the island? We have a infant and bottle cleaning by hand is a pain. I don't have 377 yet but am wondering if any modders have looked into it.

Thanks!

I dry-camp far to often for that to be a consideration. Dish washers are big water and electric hogs, so that's not good with no hook-ups!

Got the Furrion backup camera installed today. I didn't want to drill any holes in the back of the RV, so I took out the middle marker light and cut the wires. I utilized those wires for power and the existing hole. I put the unit up with 3m automotive double sided tape and then siliconed around the unit. Took me about 20 mins total.

That is a great idea. How did you mount the curtain rod?

I hope your 3M tape and silicone holds. I attached my camera that way initially and after a 400 mile road trip I noted the camera was starting to come off. I ended up drilling and there are now 4 screws holding the camera up.

Thanks for the warning! I'm hopeful that it will stay as well. I kept the screws in the RV incase I need to get up there. The only good news I saw while I did the install was that there is a stud directly over where the screws on the left side would go in.
