I'll meet you half way...although I should come all the way to visit my family down in Ft. Lauderdale area.
On another note...I've had the 5er plugged into shore power for the last 2 hours and I have no more high pitched humming sounds coming from the converter/fuse panel like I have been having since purchasing. So I guess having it replaced was a good thing...go figure!

Not really a mod...more of a sharing!
I went to put on a movie for the DD and her friends last night and couldn't get the picture to play on the TV from the Furrion DVD player in the living room area. Luckily I hadn't started drinking...YET! The sound for the movie played just fine over the inside speakers, but no video to the TV. I checked all connections to the TV...plugged and unplugged the HDMI to the back of the TV. I even found a paperclip to push the reset on the Furrion DVD/stereo. Still wouldn't work!
So I went and grabbed the toolbox and removed the Furrion DVD/stereo. I checked all the rear connections and all appeared to be good. I pulled the HDMI from the rear and plugged it back in...low and behold I had video! No rhyme or reason to this crap!!
Other than that, all went great last night! No fighting...I had ten 12 year old girls and one 8 year old (my youngest). I bought them all there own skewers for cooking hotdogs and smores. I went thru 3 packages of hotdogs and 2 bags of marshmallows, so I know they ate well! I actually had to make a bottled water run, because they drank all that we brought that 1st night! All in all it was a great success and I highly encourage you to do the same with one of your kiddos birthdays.
Happy Camping!

Finished water line mod.
Splitter with one line into fresh water Connecton & another line into black water line. Stays connected & I open up the black round door on the bottom to quick connect the hose for fast connection.

I would put a backflow preventer in the line going to the black water flush.

On my previous unit, I added an aftermarket black tank flush. There was a back flow preventer that was integral to that system and the system couldn't be assembled without utilizing it. I'm betting that if you check, there's likely a built-in back flow preventer either behind the connection, or where the piping enters the black tank.
Still, a direct connection between sanitary and waste systems wiithout redundant back flow protection is highly irregular, and likely a sanitary code violation. It may work fine, but I would keep the latch to your water control cabinet closed, so that no one complains to CG management......

I have a shut off at both connections.
Thanks for the info. I'll do a little more research.

Love it. Tried to make a brass one but was too heavy. You can buy backflow preventers from Home depot or a RV store. Camo makes them

Although I know you have a backflow preventer. As stated above it is a requirement.
If you really want to know, pull down your wall behind the docking station and follow the line coming from the water connection in the docking station. It will go up between a wall cavity somewhere (mine is the shower wall). The air gap valve is there.
It won't go straight down from the docking station to the black tank.

Looks great! Can you share the make of the tile? Also wondering how the tile bends in the corners?
