Thanks for the compliment.
I used some subfloor adhesive and some finish nails from my nail gun. Nails alone would probably be sufficient.

Got it. I'll be ordering them as soon as we get back from our outing over Presidents' Day Weekend.
Thanks again.

Thanks for the insight on a future project for me. First will be Goodyear G rated tires with high pressure valve stems, a strong battery setup (I currently run 4x6volts), sewer hose storage, roof vent covers, adjustable floor furnace vents (per Hoojs) and kitchen/bath faucets.
Thanks again.

Take a look at Sailun S637 tires. G rated as well and a lot less than G614s.

Where is that mini fridge plugged in? It's crazy you can't turn the thing off when on shore power.

The plug is behind the fridge. You can only access it (and the control knob) by removing the fridge

Tom, unfortunately Saliun tires do not have dealer representation in the Western US. I only see them in Canada and in the Michigan area. The only other G rated tire I can find as available is Hartland and I have no idea yet where it is made.
Thanks for the help.

I ordered my Sailun tires online. They delivered them to my door. I took them to my tire shop to install.

Got mine in the mail today. Thanks Tom. I'll have to install them tonight before we leave tomorrow.

That was Hoosj that suggested the vents. Can't take credit on that one. I still need to order mine

Magnolia Tom - You've posted some GREAT ideas for mods to the 377! I can't wait for the weather to break a bit so that I can start customizing mine! I'm curious about the JT Strongarm mod that you mentioned in the first post of the thread. Did you do it? Any complications? Were you able to do both front and rear? (I see a lot of comments on the forums that the rear's won't fit on a lot of different 5'ers, for a variety of reasons....).
Thank you for any insight!

I haven't done them yet. The fronts will go on without any problem. The rear is a bit trickier. JT Strongarm will work on the rear if you have electric leveling system (which we have on the 377) but not on hydraulic systems. The issue for me is I need to get a piece of angle iron to go across the trailer so I can have something to mount the JTs onto. Also, I need the longer bolts and inserts (like the front) to install them on the rear.
I don't find the trailer to be that "bouncy". Probably going to install fronts this weekend and see how it feels. If still bouncy, I'll add the rears

That's my assessment of it, too.... Fronts will be relatively easy, rears not so easy. Since both bedrooms are ahead of the center stabilizers (and when I'm in bed is the only time that a little bounce really bothers me, I figured that "fronts only" might be the way to go. Now, if you could only buy the kit that way, so that you didn't have to pay for hardware that you'll never use....
Please let us know if you make this mod, Sir! And thank you, again, for the great insight and discussion! As I start to do my mods this Spring, I may look to you for advice!

Tom,
Have you looked at the SteadyFast system.
Just curious if you checked the SteadyFast system out before getting your JT Strongarm.
I'm also anxious to see how the JT Strongarm perform for you.
Thanks

I did look at it, but decided to get the JT Strongarm instead. My set was removed from my previous trailer so I've owned it for a couple of years now. I wasn't going to buy another system when I already had one.
The JTs worked well on my previous rig. It was a rear bunkhouse model and with 3 kids goofing around all the time, it really took the majority of the shake out of the trailer. I was happy with the way it performed on my other rig so I anticipate the same results with the North Point

I just saw my first 377 at the RV show. Does it get hot in the loft?
