I’m not that smart Don...it usually takes me a couple times to learn a lesson...lol! However, I was smart enough to buy 2 spares.

Thanks, guess I wasn't thinking very well that late on a Fri. night since this is a 377 thread. DW says I never think very well. She's probably right.

Finally...the weather and my availability lined up this weekend and I was able to get wet bolt kit and x-factor cross member installed.

Install wasn't bad, just a little slow doing it by myself. All the plastics bushing were worn out on one side, glad I installed the wet bolts this year and not later.

Now plan to replace bearings before putting it all back together.

Great Job Jamie! Amazing how quickly those plastic bushings wear out. Mine were the same way.

Once I get it in and try to install it I will report back if it works or not. It was a little pricy but I liked the concept behind it and the reviews seem very high.
How did it go? What color matches our throne?

Is the x factor cross member something I should be adding?

I think it’s worthwhile. I added one when I did the wet bolt kit. For $100, it gives me the piece of mind knowing I’ve done all I could to make the suspension as strong as can be. Could just be wishful thinking on my part and good marketing on theirs but I feel good about it nonetheless.

Ya, more than I expected, 25 in total. Good thing was I could use the culls that no one else wanted from the store and they gave me a good deal.

Knew I was not going to be able to get it all done this weekend and wanted it to have solid support until I can finish the bearings next weekend.

I like a little overkill....lol

Lucky! The newer ones have a lot of things that some of us had to add or mod.

Dose the 377 have a battery charger that tapers back on the amps when batteries are fully charged are will it overheat them if you leave it plugged in all the time?

It has a smart charger. I leave mine plugged in at home all the time.

Under Step Mod

For those interested in separating the step light from the awning light and don't want to fool with installing a new switch.

For my 377rlbh with the remote control system (can operate slides, awnings, and a few lights) installed in it from the factory this is what I did (if I remember correctly since it has been a while).
  • Exterior light 1 switch controlled step light and awning light
  • There was a single wire that ran from the switch to the remote control unit which is located in the basement behind a small removable panel.
  • Found where that switch wire connected into the remote control unit
  • From the output side of that connection there were two wires. one that ran to the step light and one to the awning light.
  • Took the input connection (wire from switch) and output connection (wire to step light) and connected them together with a wire nut. I also went ahead and labeled those wires while I was in there.
  • Left the awning light wire connect to the output on the remote control unit
  • Now I turn on the awning lights only with the remote
  • Can turn the step light on and off from the Exterior light 1 switch (which I leave on pretty much all the time now even when traveling)

This was my preferred method since I like to use the remote to open and close the awnings so I can see what is going on with them. Since I use the remote to operate them why not us the remote for the light too....
