You'll like the airbags. They really help smooth out the ride. I installed mine with they valves in the license plate. Wish I had on board air controller but it's not a big deal. I just inflate them with a small compressor when I hitch up

Do you have a picture of how you separated the closet?

As a matter of fact, I do. I'm not done with it yet...this is test fitted. My stain sample wasn't a good enough match so I'm getting a different stain.

This is just 3/8" plywood I picked up at lowes. I had to cut the shelves and renail the edge trim.

Here's inside from the bunk

We plan on putting some small hooks in there to hold dog leashes and keys. DW is tossing around the idea of painting it with chalkboard paint. Not sure if I like that idea but happy wife... [emoji1]

Has anyone looked at taking the desk out? I am looking at buying an 377 but the desk gives no storage for 2 children. Thought about just making a new cabinet and moving TV out from the wall.

Sounds like a good idea. I am not sure if I want to get rid of the ottoman storage area?

Welcome to the forum. Lots of folks 'mod' their units. Hopefully someone will have some thoughts on removing the desk.

I thought about making another set of drawers in the knee space but ended up putting the ottoman there so the kids can play video games.

Ottoman stores on rear sofa. I was thinking of making a full cabinet where the desk is. Kinda like this. I am looking at 4 different models. Keep coming back to the Jayco. Although it is 15k more than the others

I am working on adding a new light switch to the bunk room. I will be putting it on the side of the cabinet mounted as a wall switch. It's sometimes hard to find the light under the overhead cabinets when the coach is dark and there's a bunch of kids junk on the floor. Pics to come....

Also working on replacing the speakers in the living room.

Hey Tom,

I added the same struts to all my overhead cabinet doors like you did.

Just an FYI, watch the cabinet door hinges, particularly if you add struts to any smaller overhead cabinet doors.

What happened to me is that the struts caused the hinges to come out of the door on a few of my doors. I just glued them back in place and so far so good.

I did the same thing for the remote control for the stereo in the living room didn't work well with the door down. The television speaker sound horrible so we use the stereo for our tv speakers and it sound much better!

Here is the light to bunk

New location

New junction box and switch

And finished switch

Much easier for the kids (and me) to turn on the lights now. I left the under cabinet light switch in its original location. I will add some blue LED accent lights under the cabinets as well and use the switch that used to control the ceiling lights

You're as bad as me Tom. Get a brand new rig and go to town. Looking good so far.

I also separated the island light from the upper accent light. I just added an extra switch into one of the open slots in the control panel.
