Morryde pin box

Hi All.
We are new to your site and new to "fifthwheelin" We just purchased a new 2017 Jayco Eagle HT 27.5 RLTS. I see a lot of fifth wheel campers with the Morryde rubberized pin box. Our's does not have one. I would like to put one on ours and was wondering which brand is recommended wheter it be Morryde or another brand. Thank You

We have the Morryde rubberized pin box and it has worked fine so far. It reduces the 'chucking' when towing, but does not completely eliminate it. If your trailer weighs less than 10k lbs., this pin box should be adequate.

I would 100% side with rockstar's comments.
If you want better, for more $$, look at the 5th Airbourne

I have one on each of my last 2 rigs. I bought the first direct from MorRyde and had it shipped to me. It was very easy to install. 2nd was on the rig when I bought it.

Very satisfied with their product and service.

If you have a B&W hitch you may have issues if you don't use a slip disk. As I was told MoRyde decided to make the pin longer then normal because reese hitches were having issues when it came time to unhook but in doing so without the slip disk the pin rides on the jaws of the b&w vs the plates. No issue with the slip disk though. I complained and MoRyde sent me a new lower pin with the correct length, but I haven't measured or installed it yet but it looks pretty

We've got the MorRyde on our new 321 and really like it. The ride us much smoother than what we're used to. Between that and the Reese 16k Titan we hardly feel and bucking or chucking.
Interesting point about the un hitching though. I'm having increasing problems but hadn't thought about the pin length on the MorRyde. I quit using the slip disc because I thought it could have been the issue. Guess I'll call the MorRyde folks and see what they can tell me.
Anyway......it's a great pin box!

I would just take a look at the pin and lock from the rear that will tell you what you need to know
