Lol, a day doesn't seem to go by without DW (or me) showing each other someone's great improvement idea. Picked up that stove top from Camping World in Berkeley, MA, designed for these Vision stove tops. Fits like a glove.

So does it have rubber feet under it? Can't find it on CW web site, but found this one. Maybe the same thing?
Stove Top Cover Wooden Counter Mat Travel RV Kitchen Gas Range Burner Serving | eBay

I was thinking of making one that covered the entire area with side legs for better support.

That's the one, has rubber feet that do a good job holding it in place on the stove. Got the Bordeaux finish one.

Yep, found the same one on Amazon, of course! It'll be here Wednesday, just in time for Memorial day weekend camping that starts Thursday!

Just when I thought I was done... I added hinges to the hot water heater access panel and added a back board so anything stored here doesn't cause any harm. Not a ton of space, but enough for a few bottles of Jim Beam 😃

LOL Tom. I was in the water heater over the weekend and thought about another mini drawer or a tilt-open door. Nice idea.

Finished this last night but had to let the stain dry before I could install it in the rear wardrobe.

Looks nice. what kind of plywood did you use? I was looking at the pre fabbed shelves at HD, but they are only 12" deep, and I know I can get at least 22" in there for depth. I bought the same shelf supports

Birch. They sell them in 2'x4' pieces. I had a sheet left over from making all the drawers.

That front and back edge board is pine. I run it through my table saw with the blade up about 1/4" to make a notch and then I insert and glue the Birch to that.

That's how I made the drawers as well.

Tom, now I know our wife's are talking. My DW bought these but I haven't put them on yet. How good are they sticking to the wall?

So far so good, although this is the first time I've done fine letters on a not quite smooth surface.

My wife also wants something similar she just hasn't found the one with the wording she wants yet. Tom your drawers and shelves look amazing.

I'll wish you luck and suggest you try and keep your wife off of Pinterest too lol

I think she got that particular stencil on ebay (example). If you've never applied these do yourself a favor and watch a Youtube video or two on vinyl application. It's not hard by any means, but seeing it done once was pretty helpful.
