Mystery 12 volt connector

In the hook up area where the water, cable, etc., is located, there is what appears to be a 12 volt connection. It has the two prong connector like is on a battery trickle charger. Any idea what this is for? My only guess is maybe one of those sewer macerators.

Could it be prewiring for solar panels?

I have no idea. I'm not familiar with how solar panels hook up. There is a connection on the roof that is labeled as solar panel connector, and there is a sticker in the main storage compartment that says it is solar panel ready. However, the sticker in the storage compartment is on the other side of the trailer.

Agreed, it's most likely the solar prep.
It looks like your camper is pre wired for solar, both on the roof, and somewhere along the sidewall. IF you have the 'Jayco Luxury Fifth Wheels Package'

Is it already connected to the battery? You can pretty much use it for whatever you want, but by default it isn't very useful for solar charging without additional mods.

It's solar prep, that connector is wired direct to your battery.

It's a 12v connection designed to connect a suitcase type solar kit to. My solar panels are roof mounted, but I use the connection that you asked about as a 12v power connection for my macerator pump. Works well!
