Mystery fuse/wire connections

Have the Eagle 317 RLOK unit. While on the floor leveling the table that was 3/4" out of level I noticed an access panel at floor level left side of dining area/Ent. Center Fireplace slide.Panel was built out 1" from wall approx. 6" high x 8"long attached with 2 screws. I removed cover to find a 3 amp fuse and a series of 4 scotch lite connectors. Wires come from floor and also go into wall.Anyone with this model or others have a similar thing or was this a wiring mess up by Jayco? I have no idea right now what this fuse is protecting or where the wiring goes, looked underneath slide but can't see anything there.Next move is to call Dealer or Jayco for wiring diagrams.

Is there an awning with a light strip on the slide? Or some other lighting? Small fuse, so sounds like it would go to some LED lighting. You could test by turning lights and anything else on and them removing the fuse to see what goes out.

I have seen them like that. On my rig, I have a small box at floor level on the slideout. It is a glorified junction box for the ac coming from the dist. panel and to the several jacks on the slide wall.

You have to remember some components are used for various floor plans with varying options/amenities. It may not be used for your floorplan, but it is on another one. In your case is there a light over the table.?

If you have an access point to the fuse you're lucky. Why I asked about the awning LED is I was doing some re-wiring on my camper and found a fuse buried in a wire and plumbing chase with no real access or any way to even know that it was there.
