New 5th wheel owner.

We recently purchased a used 5th wheel (jayco designer 2630.) I own a 2015 gmc 1/2 ton 5' 5" truck box. Do anybody know if I have to buy a sidewinder or can I get away with a sliding hitch in the back of my truck. Also I'm looking for the technical data sheet which is s/b inside the trailer but I can't find it. Anybody know. Thanks.

Measure from the king pin on the 5er to the corner of the front, and compare that with the distance in the truck bed from the center of rear axle to the cab for a start.
