Thanks , I'm pulling it with a 2014 ram 1500 5.7, 6 spd tranny, 3:92 rear end, with Air Lift bags in the rear, Goodyear Lt E rated tires, rather have the Michelins but they're ok, hitch set up is a Reese Pro 4 way pivot 16000lb slider.

Nice trailer. I'd be checking the weights across a scale. You gotta be over the RAWR.

Nice rig but i would hit a cat scale and then the ram dealer if I were you. I had a 2013 ram Laramie and after the family on board (combined less than 450lbs) I had about 480lbs of payload left before going over. Good luck and be safe out there

You shouldn't have any problem carrying that rig, I think the total weight is 9,950 with a pretty low hitch weight. With your airlift bags I think you will fine.

Well honestly I knew it was going to be close to the limit, I'm confident that the truck being as new as it is, I believe I have the skill and ability to get from point A to point B safely, the braking of both vehicles doesn't seem affected by the weight at all, with the air bags there is little to no sag in the rear end, I can say I'm not in the position to change the truck right now, it was a no brainer to move up to the FW from TT we traded, because the circumstances were perfect.

That all being said, don't think for a moment that I am full of myself and have little or no regard for safety, I'm not looking to win any races to get to where we want to go, I've been driving for a great number of years and hope to have a lot more miles ahead of me.

I greatly appreciate the comments and concerns if I can consider them that, I look forward to peoples opinions and helpful tips along the way.
Pete

We're pulling our 27.5RLTS with a 6.3 Super Duty, and you should have no problem with the 5.7.We have sufficient power left over. We're lovin' ours so far.

Your Jayco 27.5 is the one we've been considering. It's between the Jayco and a Grand Design Reflection 27.5rls, and my hubby likes the Jayco better. I'm still not sure!
